I have unlocked my bootloader and rooted the phone using linux now what bloatware is safe to remove. Is twrp compatible with stock rooted Rom or which Rom should I switch too

Iv ben trying to look it up most of the day but I want to unlock my bootloader but I have no access to amything but my linux laptop I'm running mint 13 amd turion x2 ati radeon and its 32bit os any help will be appreciated

I didn't see anything on rooting with linux when I skimmed through can someone help me out and tell me if its possible and what I need to do to accomplish root also I havent ben able to unlock the bootloader so I would need some help doing that first I'm using a custom version of linux mint 13
