All I did was do a nandroid backup back to my old setup, so I'm still rooted, just not able to use any root features right now. Isn't there a way I can just flash SU on my current set up and use root if I wanted?

j/w if you ever had any luck with a2sd? I ended up having to restore from a nand backup to get it booting again.
