Any idea why Predictive text doesn't work in browser? I've tried the Samsung and SwiftKey kybd, predictive text is set in the settings for both, it works on emails, txt messages but does NOT work in the standard web browser or Google Chrome either. It's making me crazy! Anyone else experience this??
Does the Predictive text only work with Swype? I ask because I have Predictive text (T9) set to ON on the Samsung but is seems only to work when Swype is on too. Can't I type and use T9 like on my old Dinc??
I did a search and ddidn't find an answer. I have contacts that show up when I start typing the phone number but don't show up under my contacts list. I went to PHONE --> PEOPLE --> VIEW and I have PHONE selected but they still don't show. WTF?? Any ideas?
I put a widget on my home screen to turn the 3G off when I'm not using it (and have Wi-Fi off all the time) and my battery life is now tolerable. What would Airplane mode do for me at thispoint? Does it disable SMS/MMS & calls as well?
