    Hello all, I am trying to figure out this update stuff and would apprciate some basic info for a newbie. I have an unlocked Desire from Asia (model 8181) and using it in Canada, and I don't get an OTA update. Is is possible to manually update with an official Froyo without rooting? IF yes...

    confused: HDMI on Droid X or A956 Global

    I`m confused as to which models have the HDMI connector. The MOTODEV site for the A956 (Droid 2 Global) does not list the HDMI port, but there are some ads that list HDMI. Is it just the Droid X that has HDMI Are the ads mistaken
