Help Can't Hang Up Phone. Screen Black.

Talking on the phone, moving ear to ear, see the screen display/disappear etc. Normal stuff that happened with GB. However, several times, I say goodbye, pull the phone away from my ear and the screen is black. No way to end the call. My timeout is 2 minutes I think, but it was the same with GB and I never had this problem. The phone would come back to life.

Any ideas?
Anyone else notice this?

hold down the power button and the volume down button for 10 seconds. The phone will reboot.
 
Yep, same problem. Its just like having my OG droid back. Freezing up and having to do force reboots just takes longer than a battery pull. Never happened with GB, probably 5-7 times so far with ICS.

Thanks for confirming... ICS is turning out to be loaded with bugs.
What I do is just wait for the other person to disconnect and then all things come back to life fine.


Having to reboot a phone after each call is idiotic IMHO.
 
A single, short, press of the the power button turns the phone screen back on and, from there, you can short tap the "End Call" button. It's worked for me every time.
 
As others have said; I've always had to just hit the power button after a long call (even a few times with gb). Not a big deal.... no need to reboot.
 
Trust me, I've tried just waking up the screen. Phone goes into full lock up mode, nothing works.
