Project Fi family plan

Google just added a new family plan to Fi. It now brings the base price lower than one of the cheapest carriers in the US, Cricket Wireless, which costs $100 for 5 lines, none less, meanwhile 5 lines on Fi now costs $80, plus $10/GB with whatever data you don't use refunded. For families who are very light on data use or mainly use WiFi, this is perfect for them, as long as they have a google phone of course :).

Not a bad deal for low data users, but it's hard to compare it to Cricket since Crickets base plan offers 2.5GB per line. If 5 people can average less then 400MB each then Fi would be a cheaper option.

This isn't the lowest though, depending on your usage you can get service cheaper then $80 for 5 people. :thumbsupdroid:

Whoops! I intended to say one of the cheapest carriers with unlimited talk and text, not in general because I know tracfone can go as low as $7 a month or something like that... :p
