First i flashed Validus Rom by dfuse06 and now this Resurrection Remix

Really i only have two more questions, firstly which recovery are you using? And second what does your signal say, ("LTE" or "E") ?

The recovery is TWRP 2.8.6.0 (i use this becuse in my phone with the new version 3.x the touch is not working) of curse i have LTE

Okay, it is working with the b15 modem and twrp 3.0.2, it seems I just have very weak 2g connection. Lol I guess I need to figure out voice over LTE now
 
To gain root access you go into the developer settings. It is enabled by default. You can disable it there aswell

Thank you for the quick reply.

Apparently Snapchat won't log in on the ROM. I can install it, but when I try to log in, I get a network error. I tried at first to disable root, thinking that might be the problem. No help. Any thoughts?

I think figured out what it was. It's because the ROM is prerooted. There are a lot of threads about snapchat not working with root as Snapchat performs file checks, etc before allowing login. No biggie.

Thanks, I hope to do more rom's eventually. But i've been taking alot of time to do this! Ill see what i can do, and eventually ill have everything sorted!

A logcat would be a good place to start. I can't promise anything though!
 
Android 7.x+ requires the SD card speed to be fast enough or else it will continue to corrupt its self as a internal storage.

As for Snapchat if you can get xposed working then you can use the root hide module to use snapchat
 
I have no idea where to start with video calling. For a little while, ill be busy. So rom updates will be slowed
 
HD video calling and such cant be produced till VoLTE is enabled.

For that we would need the volte modules and build.prop lines that connect the volte to be enabled.

Honestly im not quite sure yet, especially of what i need to do. I've added some changes to my devices build prop. Which i should've tried a while ago. Thanks for all the interest guy's!
 
does using an SDCARD as internal storage (adoptable storage) work with this ROM? It doesn't work for me on lineage build that's posted on this forum. If someone can confirm, i'm willing to try. it's wife's phone so i can't mess with it too much and hence asking in advance.
