I receive the following message when I attempt to search for an app in the Google Play search box.

Please grant record audio permission in order to use this feature.
I thought the Google Play app was the one that needed a permission ajustment.

I was wrong.

So what app is asking for this permission? And if you are not trying to do a voice search, why would this be needed anyway?

The obvious alternative would be Google Play Services, which has its sticky little fingers in almost everything. But I do not grant that thing microphone permissions and searching the Play Store works just fine.

You aren't accidentally activating Google Assistant or Bixby?

Messenger is giving me the same message. >>> Please grant record audio permission in order to use this feature <<<

When I go under Setting/APP Messager I don't see a record audio permission. Where can I find that permission?
