Can't hide applications

Hi,
I was using hidden applications feature in Huawei P9 as it was very helpful. Suddenly after upgrading th OS to Nougat, I can't activate it anymore no matter how many times I did the pinch out gesture on the screen.
Can anyone help?

I don't know Huawei software, so what is this feature? If it's just hiding apps from the app drawer then if it's no longer part of their launcher a third party launcher like Nova will give you that.

Try this:
  • Tap the "App Menu"
  • Tap on "Settings"
  • Tap "Applications"
  • Select "All Apps"
From here you should be able to dig around and find a way to toggle apps on/off from visibility. Basically, you're accessing this option from the menus rather than through pinch to zoom.

Let us know if this works and if you can find it share some screenshots!

Thank you for your reply. Actually what I was talking about is explained in this video
After upfrading to OS 7 I lost the ability to use this function.

Everytime I read one of these types of post about hidding apps, it rises red flags in my book. I start wondering why these people are trying to hide these apps, from whom are they trying to hide these apps:mustachedroid:
