playerpro tag editor won't accept modifications

Why won't the playerpro tag editor accept modifications to the band names...I have added 2 indie albums and can modify everything, but when I'm looking at the artists list and find the band I want to modify the name, I go through the tag editor steps and it acts like it's working, then it throws me back to the artists list and it didnt change a thing...and yes, I made sure the proper field was checked and saved...

Did you ever get this issue resolved? This just started happening to me. PP was working just fine and then suddenly, it's not. It's doing the same thing you described. I am using a rooted Note 4 with 5.1.1

Just a guess, but I'll bet it's related to your version of Android, which is quite old (current version is 9.0). Perhaps an app update wasn't fully compatible with it, and causes this behavior.
