Apps Building a App for the Cancer girl

Background Story: I have a 9yo niece. Who is really cute. She is been suffering from cancer for some time and I wanted to do something special for her. So, I bought a Mi pad 4 for her. One day I was lying and I had an idea in my mind of creating a app named "Adrianna" on which she will have her pictures. And this app will be sent to some relatives and friends.

What I want to create: Basically I want ,"when I open the app it will show a picture of Adrianna and under that her name then it will automatically go to next page where will be some folder. And when someone click on a folder it will open a new page which will show some pictures"

I will be adding folder to this app every week. Which will contain 7 pictures. So, should I create a react native app or something like a shopping app or something else?

Your help will be appreciated a lot. I will create a page called "Love From" in which I will include names of all the people who will help me in this project. Thanks in advance. Will keep you updated.
 
Very sorry to hear about your niece. What a lovely idea for an app. Kind of a gallery timeline.
There may be some handy library components you can use for this purpose. I'll have a look and see what I can find.
 
I think this is quite a straightforward app to implement. You'll probably want an 'upload' button. When clicked this will prompt the user for the name of a new folder to create, then allow selection of photo(s), presumably from the device's standard picture gallery. So the basic problem is to organise the photos into a folder structure.
Your first task is to sketch out a design for the user interface, in terms of screen layout, and flow i.e. how you want the screens to progress from one to the other.

At first, THANKS A LOT for your effort and reply. I took your suggestions in my mind and did a little bit of research and also I created the basic layout of the app. And uploaded pictures to imgur.

When people open the app this page will pop up first in which people will see her picture and her name.

In this page people will see the folders. The folders may have a preview picture. And when someone click on that picture they will be send to the third page.

In this page people will get to see the images and when they touch they will get to see in full screen.

What I intent to do:I will click pictures of my niece everyday for 7days and will upload them in a folder. I will be the only one who will upload pictures. Then people will be able to see the pictures in the app. But the people won't be able to upload pictures they only will be able to see the pictures. The main function is I will upload pictures and people will see the pictures in the app. (Otherwise: If folder creation is hard then it will be best to just upload the pictures without folder. Then there will be no folder page.)

Last week I met my niece at hospital before some kind of surgery. I told her about my idea and she was really. She hasn't been this happy in months. And that encouraged me to build this app. I 16yo and english is not even my native language. After watching her smiling everyone is encouraging me. I know graphic designing so I created layouts on photoshop. For a week I have been searching on the web to learn to create a app. And there is no way I am going to stop making this app. If you want then you can send me your name so when I complete making my app I can add your name into that. Again thanks a lot.
 
If you would like to start this project, upload it to Github and grant access to me, I can help you with this. I can't promise a lot of time, as I have a busy day job, but I can advise if you get stuck. Other devs may also want to contribute, and that's possible with Github, it's designed for collaborative development projects.

After reading your reply I watched multiple video and blog. Somehow I managed to push my android studio to github. But I don't know how to add you.
