Facebook even tracks people who aren't logged into Facebook (via trackers on other websites). of course they are no different from many under-regulated tech companies in this, just have more infrastructure.
If you use Firefox on a computer you can find "container" add-ones to isolate tabs used for Facebook sites from the rest of your browsing. If you use Chrome you are obviously happy with a unaccountable corporation tracking everything you do anyway.

They have a plugin for desktop browsers called privacy badger.. which lets you know how many trackers are watching you.. and some smart control about managing them
