I don't use it, but when I opened it, the date was today. No matter what I try, except for one thing, the calendar always opens on August 11. I know this is a dumb question, but what date is your phone set on? Changing that was the only way I could get the calendar to open on a day other than today. Sorry

Guys the icon on the home screen for the calendar app always says 30 I just want it to display the current date like the iPhone is that possible on this?? The built in calendar app that comes on this phone

Nothing inside the app just the icon itself

Rather than an icon, you'll need to have a widget on the home screen, of the calendar app.
