Help iTunes Equivalent for Android Devices?

Hi,

I've scoured sites before, asked on a few forums, and have tried a few programs, but I have yet to discover an iTunes-like alternative, for Android devices.

Right now, I'm having to manually identify & copy tracks across myself, which as you can imagine, is frustratingly tedious!

Basically what I need is;

1) Something that will automatically sync new music to my phone, when I connect it to my PC.
(doesn't need to do it the instant it's plugged in, but at least has a "sync" button I can press, to automatically identify & copy across new music)

2) The ability to select what music is synced to the phone.
(i.e. - rather than copying every audio file on your PC, it allows you to select 1/multiple specific folders to sync. Or, it allows you sync only specific artists, like iTunes does)

Please let me know if there's any program out there that can do this.

Thanks

Google Music.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Is the online Google Play Music Manager, that you upload your music to, then have it "in the cloud" on your phone?

If it's this, I tried it before, but I'd rather not use this, since it really throttled the speed of my PC down whenever I turned it on, and caused my CPU to overheat.

Needs to be noted that Apple recently announced it will be killing off iTunes as it's own multi-function service and just let all its features just move into their own discrete ones.

As for Google Music, it sounds like your audio library was still in the stages of being uploaded. Confirm that's all done and then see if the app is still taxing your phone's resources so much.
