Help scanner swipe down is a bit hit and miss

hi guys,

i mean the swipe finger down on the scanner to show notifications

i find that 50% of time on mine it doesnt work ... unless you try it like 4 times :/

....common problem?

Yeah, the gesture can be a bit unreliable. I don't think the sensor hardware was really designed to detect direction so registering that is a bit of a hack.

There's not really anything that can be done for it but to practice being exceedingly deliberate with your gesture. Even so, you probably won't get a high success rate.

Yeah, I find it works best if I use the tip of my finger and swipe from the very top. Laying the finger flat on it (as if scanning the print) and swiping is unreliable.

ah ok thanks - yes was tending of have finger flat .... will try the tip instead - ta
