Biometrics disabled on Galaxy J7 when activating Microsoft Exchange email security profile?

Deepa E

Lurker
With the Galaxy S7, the fingerprint used to work just fine with our work Exchange security policy. But with the J7 Refine, the facial recognition is disabled once I added my work email and I'm forced to enter a PIN every time. Is this standard or is there a workaround?

I don't think facial recognition is as secure as a pin or fingerprint, so I wouldn't use that for sensitive information. As far as your account policy, that's up to your Exchange administrator what it allows or not.

Thanks. I may switch to a model which has fingerprinting then.... this is quite annoying.
