OTT M8 4K android update

Hi guys, bought an OTT M8 4K on eBay a while ago. The android version is crap, won't update and nothing works in Playstore. Can you get Android 4.4.4 on these boxes? Or is there and custom roms?

This is a can of worms. There are so many variations that you're more likely to brick the device than upgrade it. I cite THIS:

You might want to check how current a question is before taking the time to kindly offer help. I'm pretty sure the OP no longer needs to get Android 4.4.4 on their OTT M8 4K from 2016.
