Bluetooth issues with 2011 Chevy Equinox.

I recently bought a 2011 Equinox and can not get my Samsung Galaxy s9+ to link up with bluetooth. I have tried several (20 OR 30). I did a hard re-boot of whole system with no luck.
When I first purchased it there were some numbers stored in the memory that I deleted, so I believe it worked at one point.
Is there a software update that I can download onto a flash drive or any other repair?
Please help out of you can, thank you!

What radio system is in the equinox?
Is it an Onstar radio?
Do you have an Onstar account?
You may need to update it via Onstar first.

Thanks for responding, my vehicle has a Pioneer stereo w/XM, it has Onstar in rearview, I just don't have an account.
Can I do an upupdate without signing up for Onstar?

To me it just sounds like the radio is not finding your phone via Bluetooth. They should be able to "pair" and once that is done your music should play thru your speakers. If you have a aux. Jack you can always connect to the radio by that also

Yeah, my Jack & USB ports are not working either. Trying to find a replacement. The other problem is it's down inside the center console, not great to get to when needed.
