Gemini Calendar - my vision of calendar software

Is it possible to download the .apk files directly from your website, rather than installing through Google Play? The latest version only is fine, but ideally a history of versions would be very useful.

Sorry guys, but I had to revert to the old UI. I must fix the bugs that appeared on some devices.
I also decided, that the new UI will be an option.

Any chance of an option to change the background of the widget? Maybe make it invisible or more transparent? Or change the color of the text? That would be a nice option for the calendar itself too. Hmm.

Hello!
It has been a while, but yesterday I uploaded a new version of Gemini Calendar, with a new skin 02 and polished skin 01. There is also a fix for Android 4.1.1, in this version Gemini Calendar zeroed the duration of the edited event.

Is it possible to set alarms for appointments? Can you set alarms that go off XX minutes before the appointment, too? Will the alarms continue to go off at a certain interval until they're manually shut off?

These are my biggest gripes with the built-in Android calendar.
My Samsung Desire Calendar alarm doesn't work, never has. Pisses me off. That's why I got the 4G phone in the first place. I NEED to be reminded that something is coming up today. I always give myself 6 hours of notice, and my HTC Sensation worked great, always. This new Desire has never worked, the alarm I mean. Is there a secret? I just downloaded the Gemini Calendar, then was disappointed to read that someone can't find the alarm for it. Pffff. That's my whole DEAL. That's what I NEED, the calendar alarm. Anyone solve this for me? Thanks.

You can set up custom default reminders plus custom snoozes

Apologies if this has been requested before.

How about the ability to swipe the upper portion of the calendar (where your current day's appointments/tasks are) to move to the following/prior day...... :-)

Finally available on Android devices 4.1 and newer.

I have no idea how long it will take to migrate into third-party calendars such as Gemini.
Not sure when, but it will be implemented in Gemini. I am studying it right now.

I had some technical problems with implementing this feature, I was attempting to write this two or three times. Perhaps this time I will have more motivation :)

Anyway, I hope new version of Gemini, with new features and bugfixes, will be available soon. As always, I appreciate all your feedback, feel free to contact me. The best way to report bugs and add new feature requests is UserVoice account - link below.

Hopefully, you will have better luck this time :-)

Many thanks for all your hard work!

Have you considered making the reminder times as customizable as the other time features? I noticed there is not a 2.5 hour alarm etc. It would be nice to be able to choose half or even quarter hour alarm times.

Hey powell

Have you had any luck with implementing the ability to swipe the upper portion of the calendar (where your current day's appointments/tasks are) to move to the following/prior day?

It would be such a cool and practical way to keep an eye on past, present and future events/appointments, et cetera.......... ;-)

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Just an fyi...

Thanks, Polish Prince.
You do not need any side-loading anymore, I have just released the version 2.07, which should be visible on the KitKat phones.

BTW: I have a strong feeling, that new Android versions are coming faster and faster. Good for us, providing the changes go in the right direction.

Hey, Powell, I came across a problem today while trying to create a repeat event. I wanted the event to repeat every 3 weeks on Thursday for the rest of the year. When I clicked on the part about "until" or "repeat x times" I tried multiple times to select the "until" option and choose a specific date. The date was correct for the final event and I hit "save". I got a confirmation that the event had been saved and I exited out of the calendar. But every time I attempted to find my events I found that it had reverted to a one time only event. I had to use the "repeat x times" option in order for it to work properly. I am using a Samsung Note 3 unrooted running 4.3.

Sorry for the long winded description.

Anyone know what happened to this app? I've used it forever, and moved to a new phone, and went to download it and it's no longer on Google Play, and I cant seem to find out anything about what happened...The author's website doesn't seem to exist anymore....and I need a way to 1. download it to my new phone, and switch my key from the old phone to the new one...

Any thoughts, or am I just SOL and need to find a new calendar app?
