How do I make a custom message, changing, lock screen wall paper?

I want to have a randomly rotating android lock screen wall paper. Something that would e.g. rotate messages like:
apple = ein Apfel
car = das Auto
today = heute

or whatever else messages I want to be getting nudged about

Any tips for this?
