Odd feelings, like Twilight Zone

Whenever I go to a different store other than my hometown stores I get this whole weird feeling. It almost feels like an episode on Twilight Zone. I feel I am in a foreign area and all the sounds and such magnify. It almost feels as though everyone else there knows I am not '' one of them ''. Paranoia ? Social Unfamiliarity ? Out of My comfort zone ?
I never felt that way when I was younger.

Odd to say the least.

Thoughts ?

Do you have any panic/anxiety disorders? I do, and your description is exactly how I feel in unfamiliar surroundings, especially large places with bright lighting, like supermarkets. Just a thought.

When I was a young man, I spent a couple of years working out of town. Six to eight weeks per town doing my part following a construction company doing HUD housing. Naturally being young and unattached, I spent my evenings visiting the local bars and pool halls. I definitely felt out of the loop in most all towns I worked in. Everybody knows everybody in those places and I was the STRANGER. Sometimes a few beers into the night and a game or two of pool I was at least accepted as the guy just passing through. Sometimes I was simply not welcome. I was that guy taking their work and eyeing their women. It was always that twilight zone feeling for me.

When I was youngin, I was in Mass for a birthday party, I mostly spend a lot of time talking with one of the bar keepers, there and just drunk my sprite and ate some pretzels, think one of my Uncles was there with me, anywhere out of my home town I feel like I entered through the twilight zone.

A reply to all. I don't know what happened but this sites format changed and my app for this site is gone. I can no longer download games either. I sent a pm to the moderator a week ago to no avail. I also get no more notifications like i used to.

I honestly can't say I agree. I went to Manchester for the first time once where they speak different to me down here in East Anglia. I was a smoker at the time so the first thing I did when I got off the train was find a shop for some smokes. The woman behind the counter gave me a big smile when I spoke, we had a chat and she wished me a good day. Although saying that maybe it was because she was happy to see someone from the other side of the country. Or maybe it was because us southerners say please when we ask for something

Nothing's changed here that I'm aware of. Your app...it just disappeared? I never use it; I just use a browser. Does that work for you?
I can no longer download games either.
Do you mean from the Play Store, or...?

Post on the Suggestion Box & Feedback board; all the mods check it.

Just wondering, did you upgrade to Android 10?
