Hi I'm using HTC desire 530 and whenever i insert a sim card in my phone it appears no service please i need help on what to do about it

Sim card not detected problem

The first thing to do is work out whether it's the SIM or the phone. Does the SIM work in a different phone, and does the phone detect other SIMs?
