From the start it seemed like the reader wasn't very good, it just didn't have the sensitivity I thought it should and then I compounded the problem by installing the Whitestone Dome glass screen protector.
Re-registered prints several times in various positions etc and it didn't help then the Sep 1 update came out and it improved a little, I also set the sensitivity to max in system settings. It worked better but I still had to press fairly hard for it to go thru.
Well today I dropped the phone and cracked the screen protector so I decided to change it out with the 2nd dome protector I got and that's when I discovered why the print reader was off. While peeling the cracked dome protector off I noticed an air bubble on the screen itself
I'm trying to figure out how the hell air got under the screen and felt the edge of the phone with my fingernail.
Damn phone came with a hard plastic screen protector under the peel away sheet. Now the reader works like it should. Doh!
