What are the specs for editing contacts field names? I.e. 'Home' to 'Girlfriend'

What are the specs for editing contacts field names? I.e. 'Home' to 'Girlfriend'

I'm not sure if I'm understanding what you're asking. Specs? I'd imagine any character you can type.

To edit a field name, just press its drop-down menu button, then choose 'Custom' from its list and type whatever you want to rename it. Make sure you save your changes before leaving the page.

If I'm completely off-base, just let me know!

Hi. Thanks. There (have to/may) be limitations. For example with the number of characters allowed, with special characters, with non-latin alphabets, with the number of edited fields per contact...

Ah, okay--I have absolutely no idea!

That is something Google would know, and may have documented somewhere. Perhaps someone else will know.
