Screw Android - Collapse OS !

Who needs Android OS ah? Especially when society starts to break down. We need an OS that can be ran on minimum specs and be jerry rigged to pretty much any z80 based hardware.

Now I don't fully understand all this, but surely being able to run the OS on as little as 8k of rom and 56k of ram is pretty unique!!

Remember you will have the edge over your neighbor with Collapse OS!

(Disclaimer before I'm called a nutjob over this: I'm not 100% certain that collapse is inevitable and imminent. I'm acting on a "strong hunch". That hunch is strong enough for me to think that time investment in this project, considering the possible rewards for humanity, is worth it.)

Besides the funny side of this project, it's also a fun idea and would surely enjoy ripping stuff apart and trying to get this OS running on mad hardware!
 
You'll still need electricity.

I read about CollapseOS last week, and didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or something in between. It reminded me of a woman I saw on Hoarders once, whose entire multi-acre property was filled with...STUFF. String, and twist-ties, and bits of fabric and mechanical equipment. She was preparing for a post-apocalyptic world, where every scrap of ho-hum daily products would suddenly be in demand--and non-purchasable.

Anyway, CollapseOS is one OS I won't be exploring--any time soon.
