Help Uploading photos

When I try to transfer photos from phone to computer I get a lot of unknown photos on my computer from the phone Don't know where they are coming from as they are photos of people / places I don't know
Can anyone help.

How exactly are you transferring to the pc?

I just plug in my phone to a laptop and the photos download automatically

I suggest you turn off any automatic functions then use file explorer to upload photos. Manual control is always more precise that automatic.
