Microwave handle busted

Man, this place is falling apart, including now the microwave oven. It's been that way for a few days. It obviously needs a new screw, but I'm not quite sure how to take it apart and reassemble it. I suppose I could somehow pull out the screw and take it to the hardware store. P. S. I was able to load the googly photo, but when I tried this, no dice. I downloaded that photo resizer app, which I guess did make them smaller (40%). However, the use function apparently did not work, and of course I could not upload the originals. Somebody please FIX IT!

Take pictures in low resolution.

A picture of your broken microwave handle would not likely help anyone advise you on the repair. Most microwaves handles are screwed on through the door. Most require some disassembly of the door to access the screw. Most handles are plastic.. the weaker half of metal attaching screw and plastic handle. I'm guessing the receiver part of the handle cracked and not the screw stripped. If so, a new screw will buy you nothing. If the screw is still hanging out of the face of the door and you can't push it into the door.. you are in luck. The fix would be some epoxy or slow set gorilla / super glue into the stripped or cracked hole on the handle and simply push it onto the screw and hold there until it sets up. If the screw is loose you will have to scrutinize how to gain access to the screw head so that you can force it into the handle during the gluing process.

If the microwave is fairly new, you might want to search the manufacture's site for a replacement handle. A replacement would be superior to the above described patch.

It's probably kind of old. It's a good one, though, big and powerful. I think the screw's still in there, and yeah, I'll probably have to get some gorilla glue or similar.
