too many options??

When I get text messages, they have a phone number in them, sometimes two. I press the properly formatted phone number and no matter what I get 2 listings for any and all phone numbers in the message. Is there any way to make this act normal, where the Phone Number I press and ONLY that number shows up to dial???

If two numbers show up, it sounds like you are being spoofed. Like one number is listed as the name (the one you click) and one is the actual number the message was sent from (possibly a premium text if you replied). Can you send a screenshot (with any personal info blurred out)?

it is the same number twice, one with parenthesis around the area code and one without, for ANY and All Phone numbers in the text simultaneously.

Go into your contacts app and delete the extra phone numbers per each contact
