Hi Everyone
We are in the process of developing a senior/blind user friendly mobile phone (big button and big screen). It will have Android 8.1 OS with customised (simplified) UI. My question is, as Android TalkBack is designed for touchscreen phones, would it be possible to modify it for a feature phone without the touchscreen so the blind/or visually impaired users can get voice output when they use their phones.
P.S: We would like to remove gestures (for example "swipe up or down to answer he call" as thats not correct on a non smart/touch screen phone) and correcting the TTS while writing as you need to press the certain keys multiple times to type the right letter.
Thanks in advance
