Dear Samsung developers,
The stock Samsung Calendar app works well, for the most part. But there are a few deficiencies that could/should be improved:
1. The available stickers are paltry, both default and available for download or purchase. Most are very cartoonish and many useful calendar topics are missing; e.g., card games, football, various holidays, medical appointments, theater, movies, etc., etc. It is probably impossible to create a set that's fully functional for everyone, so what's really needed is a simple in-app function for creating our own custom stickers. This doesn't need to be a sophisticated drawing application, just something simple such as a '2D Paint'-like app or a way to import drawings or images as stickers from our Gallery.
2. Similarly, the color coding palette needs to be expanded. Four basic colors is not enough. It must be a simple matter to add extra colors and shades. Please expand the palette.
3. Most often, multiple events, appointments, etc., occur each day. It would be valuable if we could select which sticker to display and, possibly, provide for displaying more than one at a time.
4. Entering start and stop times is cumbersome using the hour & minute scroll method. It is hard to get the correct times to stop in their right position. The number entry block method is much easier to use, but cannot be made the default entry method (it only comes up when editing existing times). Please make the default entry method a user choice.
These fixes would go a long way toward making the Samsung Calendar app a primo application!
