Notification Badger Issue in techno phones

There is notification badger issue in tecno phantom 8 phone, the application does not show a badge count/dot.

Is there any library available for tecno phantom 8 as it uses HiOS skin. Please provide a solution to implement it in Android studio.

Notification badges (not badgers, which are a type of omnivorous mammal) are a feature of the launcher, the app that provides the desktop and app drawer. So you could probably get them working by using a different launcher from the one provided with the phone.

If you are using one that relies on the native support of recent android versions it's also possible that the manufacturer has screwed that up. If so your best bet is to use a launcher that provided this feature before android supported it, which would bypass any OS limitations.

What android version is this thing running anyway? Like most if not all people here I've never heard of it.
