missing keybord on P9

I can no longer time on a keyboard and when I check language input / virtual keyboard, manage Keyboard is missing and default keyboard is not responding and no keyboard is displayed causing the phone to become useless. Thanks for any help to sort out the issue.

What keyboard are you using? Go to apps in settings and find your keyboard. Clear cache and data from there. Reboot

I am using Android Keyboard. the phone does not allow me to change keyboard

Went trough all the apps. No google Kb found. I can't even do search since I can't type

I thought about this. But I may lose a lot of data and settings. It took me a while to setup this phone correctly.

Try installing a different keyboard from the play store and test your results

Did you get this resolved? I am having the same issue.
Gboard disappears from the options & I can't search in the play store as can't type as there's no keyboard available. Do the factory reset and it happens again after a couple of days
