I just had a samsung s2, when I downloaded utorrent it won't open because it says the following: application stopped service failed to create required folders. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I need to do to get it working??

What's the app? What are you trying to do? Which phone/tablet & OS version etc would be good to know.

Different error message, but could be a similar cause:

Could be that the required folders were not created because the parent folder was in-use by another application. Uninstall the app, then try booting into Safe mode, reinstall μtorrent, and then accessing.

@aikacudia , I've merged your similar threads together and @Mr. Lucky 's reply to that one.

@El Presidente and @AMOCO ....that may clarify things a little bit.

Also, use of bit torrents is widely known to be used for redistribution of copyrighted items, piracy and the like......so tread lightly here

open settings.. go to apps.. find the app.. force close.. then load the torrent..works 4 me .. on samsung galaxy s9 .. utorrent pro .. . good luck

This is from over four years ago, the OP hasn't been back here since, and the S2 is a now-ancient device.
