Instagram is designed to work on mobile and laptops, on pc there's no option to post.

I use it on my Chromebook with no problems, instagram.com works just fine. I also use it that way on my phone, I don't use the app at all. @marysimm65, do you get any error messages or just nothing happens?

if you are using windowd 10 you can install the app from the windows app store on your computer but still you can't post from the Desktop app

Welp. I just checked on Chrome/Chromebook and it's not an option there either. Odd because I swear I've done it in the past I can upload/post from Chrome/Instagram.com on my phone.

So are you using an emulator on your laptop or something? If so, maybe you should try installing it by an APK, for example the APK provided by apktovi, or any apk sites available. Good luck!
