I have been testing an app that has been available a short time on F-Droid, called Tracker Control.
It borrows heavily from NetGuard, which is an excellent firewall.
Tracker Control uses the VPN api like a firewall.
It offers a customizeable host file ad-blocker, and the ability to control trackers on both user and system apps.
I am interested to see what the other people on this forum think about the app.
A friend of mine in Europe was a religious user of NetGuard, and after I showed him Tracker Control, he is using it instead.
