I'm a thrash metal head. I also love Industrial, EBM, dubstep, rap/hip hop and some classical composers.

But I listen to pretty much anything except country and Swing, although I will make an exception for a specific couple of country tracks.

I listen to all kinds of music from Classical to Funk; New Wave to New Age; Cajun, Reggae, Reggaeton, anything and everything. I'm most found of 70's Funk but I don't limit myself to new experiences.

There's a band I was put onto a couple of years ago who are based in Austin called Grady. If you like hard rock or even metal you may just think as much of them as I do. It's basically blues but with a very hard edge to it, I tend to call it 'blue metal'

here's a sample:

or two:

I've started to get into rap... I really like Childish Gambino, Macklemore, Jedi Mind Tricks, and Aesop Rock the most. But for the most part I like progressive rock or metal... bands like Dream Theater, Coheed & Cambria, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Portugal. The Man, Tame Impala, etc.

Mumford & Sons kind of got me into folk music as well... the only thing I don't like about them is some of the songs are very Christian-y. Love The Avett Brothers and Paleface.

I do not like most of dubstep, rap or hip hop, I enjoy my classical composers, really love me some death metal or any kind of rock any given second of anything, still most of the bounderies can gather up and become connected from anything ya know. :)

Nerd rap like mc chris and Childish Gumbo too, I should of mentioned only those tow though.

At the moment, Fleetwood Mac (both the early Blues incarnation, and most lineups since, but i'm not impressed with the current iteration since Lindsey Buckingham left (was fired?).
Oh, and most blues, rock, reggae, Jazz and classical (I do like the Bach family - not just Johann Sebastian, but CPE and WF mainly)

Ah yeh, Ghana DJ mixtapes. I've heard a few of them via some of the overseas students at Shandong University(Shanda), here in Jinan.

Blues/Jazz/Rock mainly with some reggae and folk (Steeleye Spann/Fairport Convention).
Current playlist includes Joe Bonamassa/Beth Hart, Devil's Daughters, Samantha Fish, Ana Popovic The Blues Band.

Soft rock from different types instead of being "soft rock", full albums mostly - Fiona Apple I just digged through, now switching onto Radiohead - A moon shape pool album, I already download a ton of different styles too, video game music some, musical scores some times, heavy metal, just some at a time.. Lately just feel like a good chilling out albums too. Nothing too heavy or light.
