If we are still on topic the gradient change between Black and Gray is easier to see on a big laptop screen.
That being said; it's hard to tell the difference on my S20. Maybe that blue idea wasn't crazy after all.

Nope, not on either of my 17.3" laptops! I cannot distinguish ANY difference between the two shades. None.

Mine seem sort of bold too, also the blue dot too, even when switching to my tablet a spell ago, it was all dimmed text...
