Learning Android Studio and Kotlin

Hey all,
I'm new to using Android Studio and Kotlin and could use some advice on a good place to start for learning them. There are so many sites for these, it's a bit tough to know what which are good/bad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Are you starting from scratch, or do you have some experience in other languages? Learning kotlin is like learning dutch if you already know java, otherwise there's no simple way, you'd need to dedicate a few months with a couple of good books.

Hey Trom,
I have been a NI LabView developer most of my career and have only dabbled in C# a bit. So, essentially, I think starting as a beginner would be the most helpful. Whatever time is required is fine. I just want to be sure I understand it well.
Thank you for the quick reply. I look forward to further advice.

Thanks!

Good luck, Dayle, you're not really starting from scratch, as you understand why you're typing what you're typing. I don't fiddle with kotlin all that much, and when I do, I have my reference on my lap. :)

after 7 posts only 1 guy gave a site to the generic site that i forgot to look for. why is it soo hard to find good resources for learning. i hope their main site is soo good that nobody dares make a website with a helpfull tutorial
