I'm not big on reading instructions, but I would advise reading the Pixel 6 Pro tips that came with the download. There are a number of new abilities that were added and they're explained in the tips.
For example; "Tap on the back": You need to turn it on and choose what you want it to do. There is one thing that wasn't mentioned. On the Pixel 6 Pro, you have to tap over the camera's flash for it to work.(At least on my Verizon version)
There are many more items.
Enjoy!

You shouldn't have to tap in any specific location, anywhere near the middle of the back should do.

Do you have a case on your phone? Some cases might have a gap between the case and the phone body, and that could make it harder for the taps to be detected. You might also want to make sure that the Require stronger taps on the bottom of the Quick Tap settings page is disabled if you're having trouble.

I am such an idiot. Of course a case would interfere. Thanks for correcting me. :thumbsupdroid:
