I have did went to the options and had it turn off,
I went to the about section of confrig to turn it off,
I did reset it and made it turn off within a second,
I kind of wonder how come it saved my email loggin on here and on fb?
I am crazy right? Did I miss something?

I've never known Firefox save anything I've not told it to save, and it will only ask to save a login when you enter it (so "turned off within a second" shouldn't be needed - if it were then a second is a long time for a computer!).

So do you sync passwords between devices? If so it may be that you some time saved it to a FF account and then it just resynced after the reset.

Firefox has an "ask to save" option. If you don't select that it doesn't save. There's no setting to save without asking.

You can also create an account so that it can sync stuff between devices (there are separate controls for which items it will sync).

Oh I made my FF account many years ago though, and somehow it would save my email login for both here and FB.. Really strange how I disconnected and reinstall this, oh and updates really screw with the current settings I have on here.

I know chrome will automatically save your passwords, and not sure if Firefox does the same. Did you clear the cache in Firefox beforehand?
I did that several times before, such really weird how it cause me to have a mental case around this..

When I got home, I found it was not active at all, must of been a glitch I did not look at.. So it must of been the cache needed to be clear.

Nope.. tried it last night, vaguely remember not typing in my emails. Guess it is an automatic feature... its alright though. Saves me from "Sorry don't you mean this account instead?"

in my Browsing strict, I set it to strict, scrolled about half way down and unchecked it.. Phew, I thought I would lose my head.
