App login data automatically deleted after not-using for a while!?

Hello,
it seems to me that login data needed for some apps is automatically deleted, if the app is not opened for a while. That is pretty annoying. If I open an app which I am seldomly using, I always have to search for that specific password. That is pretty annoying. Can that be avoided?

This is dependent on your security settings and the settings within the app itself.

I have a Google Pixel 6 and cannot find that setting. It is not within settings->"security & data protection". Also not in the apps I was checking.

Some apps and service do require a periodic login, like say every 30 days, where you may have to enter or verify your login credentials. MS Outlook is one that does this. Which is for account security and can't usually be avoided. But check in the security options of the particular apps in question.

For some "important" apps I can understand that function. But some apps with non-critical data (like e.g. golf apps), it is just annoying. Haven't found anything in their settings yet. But thanks, I guess I have to live with it.

You can always reinstall the app though.
