Calendar issues when saving

I am hoping someone could suggest a start point to look at an issue with Android calendar. First we are selecting the date 19/09/2023, then opening day view to select the visit time, in this case 11:30am


After selecting the date and time 11:30am 19/09/2023 and then done as seen below ..

You will note the end month auto changes and rolls back one month, when we only edited the start date and time which is still 19/09/23

The end date and has now changed to 09/08/2023

When editing again and selecting done, the end date again rolls back further as seen below ..and is now 09/07/2023

Can anyone suggest what might be something obvious to check that I am missing !

What phone is this calendar app on? I have a Pixel 7 and it's not the Google calendar

Device is S22 Ultra and its a a plug in calendar being used within an android app

You might try starting out with the US date format month/day/year and see if that buys you anything.
