That's right. Pick up the phone. Nothing. Look in text messages. Nothing. Go back to laptop. Send again - 2 of 3 tries - arrrgh - phone beeps again, and the message is on the screen. (Not a long term user of the smartphone in case not obvious. )

What are you trying to do by sending something from the laptop?

Online banking. Make a transaction. Authorization required - by number sent in message to phone.

You need to contact your bank and have them straighten out your account options, this cannot be fixed on our end.

Thanks. It only happens with the banks so I am wondering if the first one - although it is a text - is somehow 'aimed at' the app. Anyway will take it up with the banks.
