Fatality 2023.

Norman Lear, the creative genius behind so many shows (All in the Family to name just one) died a few days ago at the remarkable age of 101. Ryan O’Neal died yesterday at 82; both from natural causes.

RIP to Mr. Lear and to Mr. O’Neal, with condolences to their families, friends, fans and loved ones. Thanks to each of them for sharing their talents with us.
 
Terrific actor André Braugher has exited the stage at 61 after a brief illness.

His cause of death was due to lung cancer. Perhaps it wasn’t caught early; once it has metastasized, lung cancer has a very high mortality rate. :(
 
Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun, one of the stars of the 2019 Oscar-winning film “Parasite,” has died at 48. Initial reports suggest he may have taken his own life, which if true is a double tragedy.

Actor Richard Romanus, probably best known for his roles in Mean Streets and The Sopranos, has died in Greece at 80. No cause of death was listed.

Resurrecting (!) this thread to append more information in the wake of the charges resulting from Mr. Perry’s untimely death. Of the five people charged relative to his ketamine usage, three have now pled guilty (including a doctor) and are awaiting sentencing; the other two appear willing to roll the dice on a jury, where they could essentially receive life sentences if convicted.

I watched a ABC News piece on this on the Hulu. That Ketamine Queen is something else. Glad these type of people are finally having to pay the price for supplying this stuff to those they know are addicted.
