#10 is related to a pet peeve of mine. We have DirecTV, which means you can leave it paused for a while and then FF over the commercials, so you might think that means you could get through a 2:30 program in maybe 1:45. But no...my wife pauses the program about three times every ten minutes, and often more, to ask questions, sometimes about the program. Occasionally it's to point out that the complete dunderhead antagonist reminds her of me in one way or another (thanks, dear), but they are often nonsensical, and not particularly relevant, at least outside of the expanses of her mind.
My Darling Bride wants to solve the movies by yelling at the characters, "don't go downstairs without the bat!" or "don't go in the garage, you idiot!" If it was up to her, a Wifetime movie would be over in 5 minutes because the bad guy would never get a chance to do any bad guy stuff.

My mother's boyfriend ff throughout the entire show, even like after the commercials and some are like not even ten seconds long!

This reminded me of an episode of "Car Talk" where Tom and Ray digressed (yes, they did that in every episode!) into discussing household chores. One of them bemoaned having to do laundry and the other shared that the first time his wife asked him to do the laundry, he accidentally left a red shirt in with the whites so everything came out pink. The other brother said "Doesn't it bother you that your underwear is pink?" He responded, "I don't mind, especially because she never wanted me to do laundry again!"
