With apologies for the FB link...

I would pay serious money for an app like this...

I laughed but...

Sample of today's conversation:

Me: did you get the estimate the vendor emailed?

Her: I was working out and didn't have my phone with me. I got side tracked talking to Lori so when I got back I got my iPad, but it was out of battery, so I looked for my old iPad but couldn't get into my account. So I went looking for my iPhone but when I found it I realized I forgot something at the gym.

Me: ok {biting my tongue - discretion is the better part of valor}

Yeah, if you want a fight you respond, "Oh, is what you forgot at the gym your capacity for a rational conversation?" :D ;)

With the usual apologies for the FB link...

You don't have to be married to appreciate this one...

That works for a while but after 50 years or so it takes more than that. I've spent the last five years trying to turn my 60 year old bungalow into a five star residence ready to impress any high profile celebrity as a guest. And, I've not scratched the surface of the do this list. I had no idea the wife was saving up all of these wants/needs. At least a near fatal heart attack has cut me a little slack. I might have to fake a second attack soon. :)

At least you can fake a heart attack! If I try that stunt, she'll drive me to the hospital and if I refuse, it'll be an ambulance ride. Once the doctor says, "there's no evidence of a heart attack, he's fine" then not only will any concern she had for my health and welfare vaporize, but she'll have no sympathy if I actually DO have a heart attack.

"Oh, no you don't: you aren't fooling me with that act mister! Back in the yard with you!"
URGGGH GRRRRGHHHHH UGHHHHHHH
