What's the weather like where you are?

I'm home from mowing four and having a snack. It has sprinkled heavily twice this morning. So far it's not been a show stopper. The wet grass balls up under the mower decks and then drops a load in the yard vs evenly dispersing the clippings. I'm hoping it either dries out enough to mow the last two for today or rains hard enough for me to give up and add them to tomorrow's schedule. 70°, no wind, and no sunshine lets just a little rain ruin a good day.

It did not rain today. Even though the humidity was high, I was able to start mowing early. I went riding this afternoon. I didn't see any other riders though it was nice.. actually hot today. I went out to eat to celebrate my B-Day and didn't get to ride tonight. I hope to get in some serious riding this weekend.

My weather app shows only one day in the next ten that has a slight chance of rain. I don't believe it. :)
Today is starting out to be a dandy. It is already 72° with a high of 92° predicted. There is just a slight breeze from the South that will increase during the day but will be a non factor for Kansas. I have hopes that we will enjoy an elongated fall. I hate winter! If my area receives the moisture that it has suffered this summer across the cold months, I had best invest in a snow thrower. :(

Right on que, my weather app now shows a 50% chance of storms tomorrow. It hasn't rained since Wednesday. That might be a new record. :) Today is starting out to be a wonderful weather day. It is in the low seventies this morning with a high of nearly ninety forecasted for this afternoon. There is only a slight breeze now and should only get into the teens today. The humidity is high. It is the new norm for this normally fairly low humidity area.

It was a beautiful morning. As it warmed up the wind ramped up. Storm clouds also built up and though it did not storm here, it was stormy North of my location and along the Northern border of the state. It rained a tenth of an inch here and dropped the temperature into the low seventies. There is still a chance of additional rain over night and now they have added rain for Tuesday's forecast.

Another cloud came by last night and dropped more rain. A quarter of an inch total between the two showers was logged. It would have been a nice day today but it warmed into the high eighties and the humidity was miserably high. It cooled down some this evening and the air was dryer. It was a beautiful evening. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm and sunny but rain for Wednesday and Thursday is in the forecast.

It is cool and overcast this morning. It sprinkled early this morning and it just started sprinkling again. Only .03" has fallen so far. Enough to postpone my morning mowing but not a show stopper for the day unless it really picks up. The problem here is that it has rained so much that the ground is saturated. Just a little rain creates soft turf that is difficult to mow without scuffing grass off of the ground with the mower wheels.

It sprinkled all morning and then took a break. I jumped on the mow detail and was headed to my last lawn when it broke loose and rained hard. It's has lightly sprinkled since. Only .18" so far but I see no end to it. I'm certainly glad we are on permanent watering restrictions because of the draught conditions... sheesh!

Rain is in the forecast starting again at one in the morning and ending sometime late tomorrow night. Friday, so far, has no rain forecasted but Saturday and Sunday is to be wet. A half inch more rain this year will put my county ten inches over the annual average. It's been a crazy wet year. Mushrooms are growing in all of the yards. Too bad they are the toxic kind.

It was super nice today following an early AM rain of another .31". Rain is in the forecast for late tonight and most of the day tomorrow. More rain is what we don't need.

Rain and more rain. It didn't rain yesterday but we had dense fog until ten AM with the humidity holding steady at 98%. The day turned out very nice with no rain. It started raining here about 3:30 AM today and moved onto the East a half hour ago. The system dropped 2.27" and there is more in the forecast for today and tomorrow. It's just a wee bit boggy around here. Currently it is 65° with a slight breeze from the ENE.

Rain is still in the forecast for today but they have backed off the chances of. I need a day or two of dry. Every yard I mowed yesterday had water standing in places. One in particular I will have to return to finish. It wasn't so much the amount of rain. It was that much rain on saturated yards. It is supposedly only getting into the low seventies today with partial sunshine. So far there is zero wind. I don't see it drying out today.

It lightly sprinkled on me a couple of times while mowing but no rain on my lawns. I was able to mow today's schedule and finish the one I only mowed half of the backyard yesterday. It was partly cloudy until around six tonight when the clouds completely moved out of the area. The high today was ten degrees warmer than predicted as well with it topping out at eighty one. It was a nice day for a change. The ten day forecast has a few days of partly cloudy but none show rain.... so far.

Yesterday was dry and so was today. Both days began with the humidity in the upper ninety percent but dried out some as the day progressed. Both days enjoyed full sunlight and highs in the mid eighties and no wind. Very pretty weather indeed! It could stay like this year round and it would be difficult to find someone that didn't like the weather.

The day is showing every indication of being a duplicate of yesterday. It's currently 63° with zero wind. The humidity is in the high eighties which is the lowest morning reading I've seen in some time. With a full sky of blue, an upper eighties high is predicted with a slight South wind.

It has almost been a week since the last rain. Though it has been sunny daily, the humidity is still unusually high for Southern Kansas. The temperatures have been super nice with very little wind.
Today started out in the low sixties and mid eighties is the predicted high. Lots of sunshine will make for another stellar day.

Out of nowhere, an unpredicted rain shower passed through the area this morning. I only received .04" but my buddy a few miles North recorded .13". It is certainly not enough rain to make an impact. It will cause the mow team to start late and nothing more. It's currently 67° with no wind to speak of. A high of 85° predicted.
