What's the weather like where you are?

I'm home from mowing four and having a snack. It has sprinkled heavily twice this morning. So far it's not been a show stopper. The wet grass balls up under the mower decks and then drops a load in the yard vs evenly dispersing the clippings. I'm hoping it either dries out enough to mow the last two for today or rains hard enough for me to give up and add them to tomorrow's schedule. 70°, no wind, and no sunshine lets just a little rain ruin a good day.

It did not rain today. Even though the humidity was high, I was able to start mowing early. I went riding this afternoon. I didn't see any other riders though it was nice.. actually hot today. I went out to eat to celebrate my B-Day and didn't get to ride tonight. I hope to get in some serious riding this weekend.

My weather app shows only one day in the next ten that has a slight chance of rain. I don't believe it. :)
Today is starting out to be a dandy. It is already 72° with a high of 92° predicted. There is just a slight breeze from the South that will increase during the day but will be a non factor for Kansas. I have hopes that we will enjoy an elongated fall. I hate winter! If my area receives the moisture that it has suffered this summer across the cold months, I had best invest in a snow thrower. :(

Right on que, my weather app now shows a 50% chance of storms tomorrow. It hasn't rained since Wednesday. That might be a new record. :) Today is starting out to be a wonderful weather day. It is in the low seventies this morning with a high of nearly ninety forecasted for this afternoon. There is only a slight breeze now and should only get into the teens today. The humidity is high. It is the new norm for this normally fairly low humidity area.

It was a beautiful morning. As it warmed up the wind ramped up. Storm clouds also built up and though it did not storm here, it was stormy North of my location and along the Northern border of the state. It rained a tenth of an inch here and dropped the temperature into the low seventies. There is still a chance of additional rain over night and now they have added rain for Tuesday's forecast.

Another cloud came by last night and dropped more rain. A quarter of an inch total between the two showers was logged. It would have been a nice day today but it warmed into the high eighties and the humidity was miserably high. It cooled down some this evening and the air was dryer. It was a beautiful evening. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm and sunny but rain for Wednesday and Thursday is in the forecast.

It is cool and overcast this morning. It sprinkled early this morning and it just started sprinkling again. Only .03" has fallen so far. Enough to postpone my morning mowing but not a show stopper for the day unless it really picks up. The problem here is that it has rained so much that the ground is saturated. Just a little rain creates soft turf that is difficult to mow without scuffing grass off of the ground with the mower wheels.

It sprinkled all morning and then took a break. I jumped on the mow detail and was headed to my last lawn when it broke loose and rained hard. It's has lightly sprinkled since. Only .18" so far but I see no end to it. I'm certainly glad we are on permanent watering restrictions because of the draught conditions... sheesh!

Rain is in the forecast starting again at one in the morning and ending sometime late tomorrow night. Friday, so far, has no rain forecasted but Saturday and Sunday is to be wet. A half inch more rain this year will put my county ten inches over the annual average. It's been a crazy wet year. Mushrooms are growing in all of the yards. Too bad they are the toxic kind.
