I broke down and ordered a new hub motor for my RipCurrent S e-bike. I bought a replacement bike to ride but thought it best to get a motor for my original bike while I can. The bike company went out of business over a year ago and parts are getting extremely difficult to find.
I recently bought a replacement hub motor for my favorite but failing E-bike. After receiving it, I took it and my back wheel to a bike shop to have the motor professionally mounted within the wheel. The bike shop called late Friday saying the wheel build was complete. I picked it up yesterday morning and put a 34 mile test ride on it. After a couple of months of bike woes it's finally fixed.
