Help How to add files to my Samsung Galaxy 10 + tab

Jo: usb connection, did it prompt up in windows 10? Mine always does. Wait for it to pop up in your windows.

Where is it? An empty window just automatically opened.

On the pull down menu, it should say "use the usb for option: charging, or usb transfer"

Will look but didn't seem to have a menu.like that.
When i plug my erader in it opens a window and I am able to add more books. But the tablet just shows empty. Had wondered if I needed a different wire? My phone is transffer files by WiFi but that doesn't work with the tab either

Oh I thought it was a tablet, should of added more info, so it is an e-reader not a tablet?

Yes it is the 10+ tablet that is not able to display or add files to. Was just saying I can plug my eReader in the same way and it displays loads of files so I can add more. But the 10+ tab just displays an empty window. So I can't see the files in it. Or add more. Am bewildered lol

So your tablet is connects to your windows right? Does it show up in your windows, with like a blank screen you said, well go to settings on the tablet.. it should pop up when it saids Charging, on my tablet it saids "So what do you want to do with it?" I synch mine, will automatically synch with my windows, and I create a new folder and dump everything I do not want on my tablet to my p.c.

It just opens the tablet with a blank.page. can't see a menu. I'm.missing something.
Usually plugging an Android device into a computer, you can pull down the notification shade on the device and there's an option for why you connected it. The default option is for charging... and we have to change that to "transfer files". Only after selecting that will the computer's file explorer populate with the device's internal storage contents.

Hadthought I had to do it on the computer. But no option there to transfer files

Windows 11 menu didnt give the right option. But the menu on the tablet itself did! Yippee thanks
